4D VDC Specialist - Consultancy - 3-6 Month Contract

Our well regarded Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced 4D VDC Specialist to join their team in Dubai, UAE to work on high profile high rise and mall projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background creating 4D simulations by integrating 3D models with project schedules, providing visual representations of project timelines and progress. Additionally, you'll produce high-quality 3D visualizations and animations to enhance design presentations. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of experience in a 4D planning or visualisation role large scale high rise and mall build projects in the UAE and the wider GCC and a proven background working in a recognised PMC or Developer business.


This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-6 Month Contract position as outsource employed by J10 Consulting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain construction models using Synchro 4D
  • Integrate project programme information with design models using Synchro 4D to create time based simulations
  • Undertake alternative scenarios using Synchro 4D to compare with baseline models and identify potential program opportunities
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress using 4D simulations
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for stakeholder meetings, ensuring clarity and accuracy in visualisations
  • Modelling 3D geometry, phased logistics and temporary works using Revit, Navisworks, and Synchro 4D
  • Create animated walkthroughs and flyovers of construction projects to demonstrate how the final product will look and function
  • Work closely with clients to ensure that the 4D model & 3D visualisations accurately represent design intent and project specifications
  • Produce visual materials that effectively communicate design concepts, project plans and construction progress to clients
  • Ensure all simulations meet quality standards and are delivered within project timelines


4D VDC Specialist Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor s Degree or Diploma in Civil, Architecture or related
  • A minimum of 5-8 years experience in Virtual Design & Construction
  • A minimum of 2 years experience with recognised PMC or Engineering Consultancy companies in the UAE.
  • Project exposure in high rise and mall projects is required
  • The ideal candidate must be fully proficient in Synchro 4D in addition to having strong Revit / BIM experience
  • Unreal / Twinmotion experience will be highly advantageous
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to work under own initiative to meet deadlines and submissions.
