Accountant - SAUDI NATIONAL - Consultancy

Our Multi National Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Accounts & Finance Executive to join their team in Riyadh, KSA. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Accounts & Finance officer and have relevant experience working in a Construction consultancy company environment in the Kingdom. As per the client requirements, we can consider only KSA Nationals for this role.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed directly by our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor day-to-day financial operations
  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting including VAT, Taxes. Budgets
  • Oversee Audits including liaison with 3rd party auditors
  • Execute accurate reporting data and producing financial reports.
  • Provide analytical support to the senior management and line managers.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • Report monthly, quarterly and annually on performance against budget.
  • Responsible for cost control measures and internal controls to ensure that company resources are managed properly, and assets are safeguarded.
  • Oversee timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements on a standalone basis.
  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement annual operating budget process in collaboration with other department managers.
  • Manage the financial aspects of development projects to ensure efficient and effective processes. As needed, upgrade and/or implement appropriate systems and policies, internal controls and standard financial operating procedures.


Accounts & Finance Executive Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting or similar
  • Minimum 3-5 Years experience in accounting and finance.
  • Professional certificate in accounting is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of KSA Tax Laws and Regulations (e.g., VAT & Corporate Tax)
  • Strong analytical acumen
  • Possess good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software (e.g QuickBooks)
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Arabic is required
