Architect - Consultancy

Our International Architectural & Engineering Consultancy client has a new requirement for a number of experience Architects to join their team in Dubai to work on a new build 5* Hotel and high rise residential, commercial and mixed use projects in the UAE and MENA region. Successful candidates will have experience as an Architect ideally with a recognised consultancy company background.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire permanent role employed by our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer applications such as REVIT and CAD.
  • Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects.
  • Working around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget.
  • Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists.
  • Writing and presenting Project Reports, Proposals, Applications and Contracts.
  • Choosing the materials to be used and specifying the requirements for the Project.
  • Adapting Plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction.
  • Making sure the Project is running according to schedule and budget.
  • Playing a part in Project and Team Management
  • Travelling regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings.


Architect Experience:

  • Minimum of BSc in Architecture
  • 3-5 years of Architecture experience
  • Experience in Revit, Auto CAD and other design softwares
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership skills as well as the ability to work well within a team of other professionals
  • Organizational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
  • An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability
