Architectural CAD Draughtsman - Consultancy - 4 Month Contract

Our well regarded Architectural Design consultancy client has a new requirement for 2 No well experienced consultant Architectural CAD Draughtsman to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on a new high profile projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Architectural draughtsman for projects in the UAE and have worked for a recognised consultancy client.

These roles is available for immediate joining and is an initial 4 Month fixed term contract position as an outsourced employee of our client employed by J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare concept drawings from PD design sketches.
• Dimensioning & preparing Area Schedule.
• Update Preliminary Design.
• Maintaining electronic drawing files.
• Comply with the Quality Management System.
• Prepare Basic Engineering Drawings from Architects sketches/ Description.
• Prepare Detailed Engineering drawings from Architects sketches/ Basic Engineering Drawings
• Revise Detailed Engineering Drawings to incorporate comments
• Revising Tender drawings as per Clients Comments.
• Prepare/organise Area Schedule.
• Make regular backups and Maintaining electronic files

Architectural CAD Draughtsman Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Design or Engineering
• Minimum 5-8 years of recent progressive experience (at least 3 years in the UAE with recognised design consultancy companies)
• The ideal candidate must have strong CAD experience in Pre- Concept to Schematic Design phases.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Ability to communicate clearly in English
• Ability to work under own initiative to meet deadlines and submissions.
