Architectural Coordinator - Consultancy - 12 Month Contract

Our International Design and Supervision Consultancy Client has a new requirement for a well experienced Architectural Coordinator to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile new hospitality and residential projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Architectural Coordinator with strong knowledge in working on high profile projects in the UAE with preference given to those with prior experience working for recognised Consultancy companies

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 12 month contract position employed as outsourced staff through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate all design disciplines and specialist sub-consultants, including Façade, Landscape, Water Features, Kitchen, Sustainability, Acoustics, Specialist Lighting, Sauna, Swimming Pools, Structural, and MEP.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central coordination point between the Employer, PMC, contractor, LDC, and sub-consultants.
• Meetings and Reporting: Organise coordination meetings, prepare MOM, maintain action trackers, and respond to technical correspondence.
• Programme Monitoring: Track design deliverables, milestones, and technical information required to support construction progress.
• Technical Submittals: Monitor and expedite shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical submissions.
• RFI and Design Coordination: Follow up on RFIs, design clarifications, interface issues, and design changes with the responsible disciplines.
• Site Technical Support: Coordinate the resolution of design discrepancies and technical issues arising during construction.
• Authority Approvals: Coordinate and monitor authority submissions, NOCs, approvals, and statutory requirements, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.

Architectural Coordinator Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in design/construction coordination for high-end projects.
• Software Skills: Working knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Synchro.
• Proven experience of Architectural Coordination on hospitality and residential projects
• Previous experience in a recognised design or supervision consultancy is preferred
• Good written & spoken English.
