BIM Modeler - Lighting

Our Leading Architectural & Engineering Design & Supervision client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced BIM Modelers - Lighting to join their team in Dubai at prestigious new build Interior fit out and refurbishment projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a BIM Modeler specialised in to lighting on major interior design and fit out projects in the UAE.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role of BIM Modeler - Lighting requires the successful applicant to run a portfolio of projects independently, adhere, enforce and maintain agreed standards within the project teams, and provide assistance to the Associates and Managing Partner to improve the overall performance of the practice.
- Enquiries and proposals
- Take sole ownership of draft design brief and present for comment and approval prior to beginning next stage.
- Set up full project programme with Senior Design team
- Work with concept department to realise deliverables on time and within budget
- Work with Associate to develop cost/time chart based on project deliverables, required resources and agreed programme
- Manage any value engineering and make client aware of potential variations to consultancy agreement
- Orchestrate detailed design package, review progress daily with Senior Design team, and resolve all outstanding issues where client input is required
- Oversee submissions for building permit and Civil Defence
BIM Modeler - Lighting Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years overall experience.
- Strong proficiency in Revit / BIM Modeling
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related
- Previous experience of working in a recognised Design and Engineering Consultancy.
