BIM Technician (Interior Design) - Consultancy - 6 Month Contract

Our leading Multi National Project Management & Design consultancy client has a new requirement for 2 well experienced consultant ID BIM Technicians to join their team in Dubai to work on new high profile hospitality and commercial projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an BIM Technician with Revit/BIM expertise in detail design for hospitality projects in the UAE and have worked for a recognised consultancy client.


This roles is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month contract position as an outsourced employee of our client employed by J10 Consulting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive BIM Interior Drawings: Develop detailed drawings encompassing plans, elevations, and sections, ensuring accuracy and precision throughout.
  • Provide expertise in all facets of interior detailing, contributing to the overall design coherence of luxury projects.
  • Specialize in crafting specific drawings that convey the unique aesthetic and materials characteristic of luxury projects.
  • CAD & BIM Mastery: Utilize advanced CAD, REVIT & BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create 2D and 3D models, ensuring that all details are accurately represented and coordinated.
  • Material Expertise and Coordination: Ensure seamless collaboration with other trades, integrating details seamlessly within the opulent environment.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project managers to align details with the overall vision of projects.
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintain meticulous documentation of interior details, capturing revisions and creating as-built drawing.
  • Organize and catalogue drawings, presenting a comprehensive portfolio that reflects excellence in interior detailing.
  • Technical Support for Implementation: Provide expert technical support during the construction phase, collaborating with construction teams to ensure the accurate execution of Interior designs.
  • Oversee the installation process, ensuring that the vision of the design is translated into flawless execution on-site.


BIM Technician - Interior Design Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Architecture, Design or Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of recent progressive experience (at least 1 years in the UAE with recognised design consultancy companies)
  • The ideal candidate must have strong Revit / BIM experience .
  • Candidates should have strong experience in detail design for interior design projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to work under own initiative to meet deadlines and submissions.
