Building Surveyor - Consultancy

Our Multi National Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Building Surveyor to join their team in the UAE to work on Residential, Commercial and Hospitality projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Building Surveyor on new build and refurbishment projects in the UAE and the wider GCC and a proven background working in a recognised PMC or Design Consultancy business. Preference will be given to candidates holding MRICs or CIOB accreditation.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor who will play a vital role in conducting various building surveying tasks, including technical due diligence, reinstatement valuations, refurbishment or repurposing projects, and client management.
- Assist in conducting thorough assessments for property developments and refurbishments.
- Contribute to detailed reports for clients.
- Support in completing valuations for insurance purposes, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Aid in managing refurbishment projects, including inspections and negotiations between landlords and tenants.
- Collaborate with senior team members to maintain strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
- Work closely with project and business leaders to provide assistance across various projects, from surveys to report preparation.
Building Surveyor Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited international institution.
- CIOB or MRICS qualification is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building surveying, with expertise in technical due diligence, reinstatement valuations, and dilapidations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
- Strong technical expertise in building construction, defects diagnosis, and condition assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used in building surveying and valuation processes
