Business Development Manager - Main Contracting - Mandarin Speaker

Our multi national main contracting EPC client has a new requirement for a well experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Successful candidates will have extensive business development experience in Main Contracting and Tier 1 EPC projects in the GCC. Mandarin speaking is a pre-requisite for the role in hand.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets in accordance with the sales plan, through the effective management of customer relationships. The Business Development Manager will provide a high level of customer service and account management to existing and prospective clients for EPC, Tier 1 contracting and main contracting opportunities.

  • Achievement of sales revenue targets within timelines
  • Number of effective calls and client meetings made per week
  • Timely & accurate reporting of sales results and activities
  • Achieve and exceed set revenue targets in accordance with the sales plan
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with developers and main contractors.
  • Specific focus on large scale EPC projects.


Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivery in a sales role within EPC & Main contracting.
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of commonly used business software
  • Strong & effective verbal and written English & Mandarin communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and account management skills
  • Experience of growing and developing new markets and products
  • Relevant industry knowledge
  • UAE driving licence is essential
