Civil Engineer - DEWA Approved - 3 Month Contract

Our multi national EPC contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Civil Engineer with previous DEWA approval to join their team in Dubai. Successful candidates will have strong Civil Engineering experience on DEWA projects including substations up to 132kv.
This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 3 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all the civil construction works of substations in line with approved drawings setting out levelling and surveying the site
- Estimate prepare and assign the resources such as manpower materials consumables equipment tools etc required for all civil works prior to execution
- Plan and analyse all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options for approval prior to execution at site
- Interpret construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs
- Manage the site workforce and provide engineering and technical supports to all the civil work groups at site
- Plan the execution of all civil related works and coordinates the works with the project team
- Coordinate with Client representatives for any site instructions inspection of works and attend progress meetings with contractors
- To ensure that all the works done are in accordance with the approvals
Civil Engineer - DEWA Approved Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or 3 year diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years’ industry experience in Civil Engineering with at least 1 high profile DEWA substation project experience.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.
- Hold a previous or current DEWA approval including TED Code as an approved Civil Engineer.
