Civil Engineer (UAE National) - PMC

Our Multi National Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a Civil Engineer to join their team in Dubai, UAE.

Successful candidates should be a UAE national with a qualification in civil engineering and a passion for delivering projects of social and cultural significance. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a vital role in the planning, design, and execution of various construction projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. As per the requirement, we can consider only UAE Nationals for this role.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed directly by our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibility
  • Preparing detailed project plans, including cost estimates, timelines, and materials required
  • Collaborating with architects, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
  • Overseeing the construction process, managing contractors, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and building codes
  • Conducting regular inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
  • Providing technical advice and solving any engineering problems that may occur during the construction phase
  • Managing project budgets and resources effectively
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in civil engineering


Civil Engineer Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred
  • Proven experience in civil engineering, preferably in the UAE
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • UAE National with a passion for contributing to the development of the UAE's infrastructure
