Civil Foreman (Carpenter) - Main Contractor

Our Leading Main Contractor client has a new requirement for a well experienced Joinery & Carpenter Foreman to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile new Civil construction projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a joinery and carpernter Foreman for large scale projects with a recognised main contractor company.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site operations, labor, and subcontractors.
- Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Manager, and other trades.
- Manage resource allocation (labor, equipment, and materials).
- Monitor progress and report daily work updates.
- Ensure site safety compliance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Resolve site-related issues promptly to avoid work delays.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
- Assist in quality control and inspections with the QA/QC team.
Joinery & Carpenter Foreman Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in building construction projects, at least 2 in the UAE in supervisory capacity as foreman or chargehand.
- Knowledge of reading drawing, productivity requirement and supervise joinery and carpenter workers
- Overseas Experience involved in shuttering works is preferred.
- Should be familiar with different types of slab, column, beams, walls, raft rebar works.
- Should be familiar in installation works for the different Systems.
- Should be familiar to demonstrate the applicable Quality requirements
- Should be familiar to demonstrate the applicable Safety requirements such as Temporary work procedures
