Civil Inspector - Consultancy - 3 month contract

Our Regional Architect & Engineering consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Civil Inspector to join their team in Dubai to work on a prestigious new hotel project. Successful candidates will have extensive Civil Inspection experience coupled with a consultancy background on hospitality and hotel projects.

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3 month contract hire opportunity as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.

Responsibilities:

• Able to execute all the assigned tasks and duties, related to own discipline, with independence and minimal guidance.
• Demonstrate constructive and cooperative working relationships, coordinating with other Inspector disciplines, and maintaining them over time.
• Retrieving, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant systems.
• A willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
• Understands the NCR and SOR procedure
• Able to translate design to installation
• The ability to highlight concerns and reporting it to the Senior Inspector.
• Work in projects in accordance to Inspector level as defined in the Project Management Plan document.
• Required to practice to Health and Safety standards and procedures on projects

Civil Inspector Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in similar projects
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in UAE.
• Minimum of 2 years in high rise hotel and mixed use projects
• Experience with renowned Consultancy firms.
• Demonstrable experience of working on a building project based in the Middle East
• Strong Site Inspection Record
• Detail Oriented
• Good Communication Skills
• Team leadership abilities
• Education Diploma or a Degree in Civil or Architectural
