Construction Manager - Consultancy

Our global Engineering consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced consultant Construction Manager to join their team in KSA at a high profile project. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Construction Manager on large scale civil construction projects in KSA and the wider GCC.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and understand the day-to-day construction management of the project
  • Be responsible for the on-site management of construction activities at a senior level
  • Be responsible for performance of the contractor and/or consultant construction supervision teams to confirm compliance with contractual requirements
  • Be the primary project leader dealing with client representatives to coordinate main contractor and/or subcontractor activities to ensure orderly and efficient completion of projects
  • Provide leadership and accountability for the performance of projects
  • Proactively drive the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities
  • Determine the team requirements for the defined scope and schedule
  • Understand the overall management of all administrative, commercial and technical services required for the management of projects
  • Provide direction to planning, scheduling and engineering functions as required
  • Have in depth knowledge of design management and working with or within the professional design team.
  • Have the necessary skills to undertake contract administration duties on a project
  • Have in depth knowledge of build-ability and construction methods


Construction Manager Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Certified Project Management Professional status or member of equivalent institution
  • Successfully led numerous complex, large scale Project Management Construction Management programmes across a range of Client types and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Possess 10+ years' experience in delivering fully coordinated, multi-disciplinary Project Management and Construction Management projects in the capacity of Project Manager?
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully delivering a fully coordinated Project Management and Construction Management projects using the latest engineering design and collaboration tools, including BIM
  • Worked for an international consultancy for around 5-8 years and over 5 years of my experience has been in the Middle East
  • The ability to converse in technical matters across all disciplines associated with our Project Management and Construction Management projects
