Construction Manager (Interiors) - Consultancy - 3 Month Contract

Our Global Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Consultant Construction Manager experienced in interior and fit out projects to join their supervision team in Abu Dhabi. Successful candidates will have strong Construction Management experience working on Interior and fit out projects overseeing finishing, handover and snagging / de-snagging in a supervision consultant capacity for a recognised PMC / Consultancy business.

This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 3 month contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction lifecycle of large scale Interior fit out projects, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and timeline standards.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities, including site supervision, contractor coordination, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring strict adherence to project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead and motivate on-site teams, including engineers, contractors, and laborers, to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve project challenges effectively.
• Monitor procurement and inventory of construction materials to prevent delays.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Construction Manager Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture or related
• Should have minimum 8-10 years of experience, at least 3 as a Construction Manager
• Experience of delivering large scale interior and fit out projects in a supervision consultancy capacity in the UAE is mandatory
• Having PMP, DM or SOE certifications is added advantage.
• Proven expertise in project management, construction methodologies, and building codes and standards.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, municipality approvals, and permitting processes.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
