Construction Manager - Main Contractor - 6 Month Contract

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for a well experienced Construction Manager experienced in major civil construction projects to join their team in Dubai to work on a new projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Construction Manager working on relevant projects in the UAE with prior experience working for recognised Main Contracting Companies.

This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a temporary to permanent basis as an initial 6 month contract position, outsourced through J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction lifecycle of large scale civil construction building projects, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and timeline standards.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities, including site supervision, contractor coordination, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring strict adherence to project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead and motivate on-site teams, including engineers, contractors, and laborers, to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve project challenges effectively.
• Monitor procurement and inventory of construction materials to prevent delays.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Construction Manager Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is must and having a master’s degree is a plus.
• Should have minimum 8-10 years of experience, at least 3 as a Construction Manager
• Experience of large scale building projects in main contractor capacity in the UAE is mandatory
• Having PMP, DM or SOE certifications is added advantage.
• Proven expertise in project management, construction methodologies, and mid - high-rise building codes and standards.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, municipality approvals, and permitting processes.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
