Construction Manager (Piling) - PMC

Our Global Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced consultant Construction Manager specialising in Piling Projects to join their team in NEOM, KSA at a high profile Infrastructure & Build project. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Consultant Construction Manager on large scale building infrastructure projects ideally within KSA and/or the wider GCC.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing projects contractors and service providers in delivery of major piling projects. This includes safeguarding a high calibre of project management is provided. The Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality facilities and services which meet regulatory requirements and standards to achieve successful handover.
  • Deputy to Projects Manager in their absence.
  • Work with internal partners, the Contractor and service providers to deliver projects while ensuring adherence and compliance with strategy, policy, departmental goals and commitments.
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing the Contractor and service providers in the development, implementation, and handover of Projects.
  • Assess and take steps in accordance with the Scope of Work, (SoW), that ensures the Contractor and service providers are responding to inquiries in accordance with the SoW.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance technicians, engineers, and service delivery staff, to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain customer confidence by ensuring confidentiality of company data as required.
  • Analyze, summarise, and interpret data; make appropriate recommendations and decisions related to document management, write reports, and give oral presentations, as required.
  • Plan, organise, prioritise and perform multiple tasks to perform job functions in an orderly manner.
  • Ability to manage and drive service delivery staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in meetings and communicating updates and information to team members and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and stakeholders


Construction Manager (Piling) Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in project delivery experience for large scale infrastructure and piling projects, overseas and / or military facilities
  • Previous experience in the development, implementation, and handover of primary infrastructure facilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to provide step-by-step detailed advice and solutions for remedying failures in service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to articulate clearly and concisely. English proficiency is required (both written and oral).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
  • Professional maturity and irreproachable integrity are obligatory
