Design Architect (Rhino) - Consultancy - 3 Month Contract

Our Multi National Architectural Design Consultant client has a new requirement for a well experienced Design Architect with strong proficiency in Rhino software to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE to work on new f&b / restaurant projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Architect on similar projects in the UAE and the wider GCC and a proven background working in a recognised PMC or Design Consultancy business with strong technical design skills

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3 month contract position employed as an outsource through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing architectural design (using Rhinoceros & Revit) based on design brief - from concept to detailed design and tender documents.
• Working with a team of designers, evaluating individual design, reviewing drafts and computer models, and approving design changes/deliverables, as well as overall team performance.
• Coordinating the design with Structural & MEP Engineers.
• Preparation of drawings and details.
• Present design proposals and bids to clients according to prescribed deadlines, and explain relevant details, reports, expense line items, and goals in clear and persuasive language.
• Formulate design concepts for projects with ability to digest and interpret design concepts and directions from the Director and proceed with design development.
• Development of conceptual design solutions to the design problems and parameters agreed with the client and as contained in the Brief together with providing assistance to the Project Leader and Director in the presentation of those solutions to the client.
• Undertaking thorough research of both the client's needs and requirements and other similar or related projects to gain a full understanding of the design problems and parameters.

Design Architect Experience:

• Minimum of BSc in Architecture or related
• Experience wise must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, most recent experience must be in UAE - 2 years minimum and MUST have worked for well-regarded design consultancies as opposed to Contractors.
• Software: Rhinoceros and Rhino are essential, proficiency in the usual design programmes is expected.
• Experience of f&b and restaurant projects is preferred.
