Electrical / ICA Inspector - 3 Month Contract

Our Global Management & Engineering Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced, Electrical / ICA (Instrument, Control & Automation) Inspector to join their team in Abu Dhabi.. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Electrical / ICA Inspector for a consultancy company on large scale infrastructure projects in the UAE.

This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 3 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

The role of the Inspector - Electrical/ICA will be as follows:

• Supervise contractor's work and monitor construction in accordance with approved programme, approved technical/design documents and drawings;
• Review contractor's submissions;
• Check measure of work done and materials at site;
• Report back as necessary to the senior engineers;
• Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions;
• Record and display progress vs program;
• Provide professional support to the management team within the Division, helping to ensure high quality service delivery and a co-ordinated response to clients;
• Participate in contract administration;
• Observe site safety practices

Electrical / ICA Inspector Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/ICA Engineering;
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience,
• 5 of which will have been in construction supervision
• 3 years on projects in water and wastewater sectors in the Middle East;
• Experience within a consultancy environment
