Electrical Site Engineer - Main Contractor - 3-4 Month Contract

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting client has a new requirement for a number of experienced Electrical Engineers to join their team in Khalifa Economic Zone (KEZAD), to work on a new data centre project in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Electrical Engineer on major projects in the UAE and have worked in the capacity of Electrical Engineer for a Main Contracting company. Preference would be given to those who have worked on data centres or MCF projects previously.

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-4 Month Contract as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Electrical Engineer will be to design, develop, and supervise the installation of electrical equipment, systems, and components. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and possess strong problem-solving abilities. They should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Designing electrical systems and products based on client and project requirements.
• Performing calculations and analysis for electrical components and systems.
• Developing and testing prototypes and overseeing the production process.
• Evaluating existing electrical systems and recommending improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Providing technical support and guidance during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Keeping abreast of advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry trends.

Electrical Engineer Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Proven experience in electrical engineering design and development.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in Revit & CAD software for electrical design and simulation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Project Experience in GCC countries working on major projects
• Good communication skills
