ELV / Telecommunications Design Engineer - Consultancy

Our International Engineering consultancy client has a new requirement for well experienced consultant ELV / Telecommunications Design Engineer to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile mix use projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an ELV / Telecommunications Design Engineer for large scale mixed use projects in the GCC and must have worked for a recognised Consultancy company.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs various engineering and design assignments for ELV and security systems like (Structure cabling systems, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BGM, BMS, Audio Visual, DAS, Nurse call, intrusion system, disabled alarm systems)
- Assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
- Provides input to BIM / Auto Cad Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
- You will be required to carry out Revit / CAD related tasks.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Preparing technical design reports with minimum support from the senior engineer.
ELV / Telecommunications Design Engineer Experience:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering
- 5-7 experience in Telecommunication /ELV design of large various projects.
- The engineer shall have deep knowledge and design experience in ELV systems.
- Full proficiency in using Revit & AutoCAD and other related software.
- Prior experience working in a consultancy is essential.
- Fully conversant with the BICSSI, ANSI/ TIA, IEEE, and BS standards as well as Local Authority regulations such as Etisalat/ DU and/ or other authorities within Gulf region.
