Fit Out Site Engineer (High End) - Contractor - 3 Month Contract

J10 Consulting has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Fit Out Site Engineers to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Fit Out Site Engineer on high end interior fit out projects and contracts in the UAE and have relevant experience working for main contracting companies on high profile fit out projects.

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3 month contract position as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising experience in high-spec Fit-Out and interior works
• Knowledge of drawings and implementation to site.
• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
• Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
• Handling site accidents by established accident protocol.
• Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
• Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
• Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
• Must have a working knowledge of MEP, Civil, Architectural and Interior.
• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.

Fit Out Site Engineer Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a fit out site engineer, with a focus on high end interior fitout projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lead fit out teams and sub-contractors, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and reporting.
