Head of Facilities Management / FM Director - Developer

Our well regarded regional Real Estate Developer client has a new requirement for a well experienced Head of Facilities Management to join their team in Riyadh as part of a growing FM Division. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Total Facilities Operations Manager / Head of FM for high profile hospitality and commercial use projects and MUST have had relevant experience in the UAE or Qatar to be considered. The client is open to actively relocating the selected candidates into KSA.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent employment opportunity with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will lead the Facilities Management (Hard & Soft FM Services) function and will report directly to the CEO. The incumbent will lead on the development of FM strategy, policies and processes and oversee the day-to-day operations across all sites.
- The job holder will create a strong external and internal client-focused service and manage multiple projects simultaneously; developing and managing highly organized systems for a multi-site facilities management function.

You will have the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest FM technological innovations.
Head of FM Experience:
- Holder of a Degree/Master’s Degree
- Holder of a Built Environment trade degree, diploma or certificate
- 12+ Years of relevant FM experience in High end hospitality and commercial use buildings.
- At least 5 years in a leadership position within a recognised FM delivery team
Job Specific Skills:
- Total Facilities Management experience at both strategic and practical levels
- Comprehensive knowledge of building systems and building construction techniques
- Ability to effectively and accurately project manage multiple complex contractual arrangements.
- Solid financial and purchasing acumen.
- Knowledge of both international and local (UAE) statutory and legislated requirements in governing large properties.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly those related around the Property sector (e.g. ISO 55001, Asset Management, ISO 41001 Facilities Management, ISO 45001 Energy Management) to introduce international best practice in asset and facilities management
- Robust organizational & resource planning, operational efficiency and stakeholder management ability.
- Expertise in implementation & launching of CAFM System.
- Establish total Facilities Management and CAPEX budgets across multiple sites.
- Clear and concise presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Strategic planning and analytical skills to make decisions which deliver best advantage
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
- Capable of developing strong and trusted relationships
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on service delivery
- Communication and interpersonal skills at both an individual and team level.
- Strong work ethic and competitive drive.
