HVAC Site Engineer - Fit Out Contractor

Our Regional Interior Fit-Out and MEP Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Dubai, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an HVAC Engineer on Fit-Out and MEP developments, projects and contracts in the UAE.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire role employed by our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the department's general policy and managing services and maintenance with regard to maintenance and operation.
  • Supervising the preparation of the annual plan for preventive maintenance and its implementation in coordination with the concerned parties.
  • Inspecting the project locations and their facilities that need to update the air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment and limiting the numbers and quantities that need replacement
  • Preparing related reports and submitting them to the department head and director of the department.
  • Preparing the annual plans related to the air-conditioning and refrigeration work and taking the necessary measures to ensure their implementation.
  • Preparing, updating and developing the technical specifications for facilities maintenance contracts and supervising their implementation
  • To improve performance and raise operational efficiency.
  • Supervising the installation and operational works.
  • Contracting with the department in this regard.
  • Review and approve mechanical plans, scope of work and technical specifications for new projects in coordination with the stakeholders in the engineering department to ensure quality of future maintenance and operation
  • Providing operation and maintenance services for equipment and devices for all the department's buildings and ensuring that material requirements are provided so that it performs its mission with the necessary efficiency.
  • Apply the principles of safety and environmental protection in all operations and maintenance
  • Preparing periodic reports on the progress of work, periodic reports on performance, proposals for development and achievements.
  • Follow-up and supervision of the installation and completion of the work to ensure the completion of the work with high quality and efficiency.
  • Upgrading operations and improving the level of maintenance in buildings.
  • Performing any additional tasks commissioned by the department head or department manager outside the job tasks that are related to the business interest


HVAC Engineer Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering -
  • Experience in the field of Installation and supervision of mechanical / air-conditioning and refrigeration work of at least 5 years, 3 of which should be with HVAC Installation contractor in the UAE
  • The ability to use computers and specialized programs related to the field of work -
  • Clear and concise written and verbal English to liaise with project stakeholders
  • Driving license in the United Arab Emirates-
  • Ability to integrate and lead the team and adopt the team spirit philosophy -
  • Has good leadership and planning skills
  • Capable of Interpreting Engineering Drawings and Diagrams (HVAC)
