Infrastructure Draughtsman - Consultancy

Our leading design and engineering consultancy client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Infrastructure draughtsmen to join their team in Dubai. Successful candidates will have strong Infrastructure experience and major project exposure in highways and infrastructure projects will be preferred.
This role is available for immediate joining and is for a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs complex drafting / modeling assignments that require judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
- Preparation of drawings using Civil 3D model. for all Infrastructure works.
- Work with Infrastructure Dept / Transportation Dept - discipline engineers to develop detailed design drawings ( Roads, Utilities, etc)
- Assist with Infrastructure / transportation / water / Utility project civil design coordination with 3D models, using coordination tools such as Navis-works etc.
- Understand design and drafting systems and standards followed by Clients Actively working on improving drafting skills and increasing knowledge of BIM / Navis-works.
- Added advantage : Demonstrable experience in the implementation of BIM technology for Roads / Infrastructure works. Should be working on below mentioned software ideally : Civil 3D CAD ( Infra) Navisworks, Micro-station, AUTOCAD, BIM is an added advantage
Infrastructure Draughtsman Experience:
- Proven track record of working as a CAD / Civil 3D for Civil & Infrastructure Projects (Road, Highways, Utility, Water network etc).
- Proficiency in Civil 3D CAD , including (Micro-Station) is an advantage
- 8+ years in civil and infrastructure projects working as drafter / modeler; preferably Infra-works Roads / Earthworks /Utilities / transportation infrastructure projects.
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
