Interior Design Inspector - Design Consultancy

Our Multi National Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Interior Design and Finishes Inspector to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Successful candidates will have strong Interior Design, Fit out and finishing inspection experience and major project exposure in 5* hotel, hospitality and mixed use high rise towers projects and have worked for a recognised consultancy company previously

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed by our client.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for ensuring that interior design projects meet all quality safety and compliance standards throughout the construction and implementation phases.
• Conduct thorough inspections of interior design projects to ensure compliance with design specifications building codes and safety regulations.
• Review architectural and interior design plans to understand project scope and requirements.
• Monitor site operations to ensure that interior construction and installation are carried out according to approved designs and standards.
• Identify and document any discrepancies defects or noncompliance issues and provide actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers designers and contractors to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain comprehensive records of inspections and compliance issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends building codes and regulations to ensure compliance and excellence in all projects

Interior Design Inspector requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in site operations and interior design inspection.
• Proven experience with building codes safety regulations and quality control standards in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles materials and construction techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret design plans and technical documents accurately.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for inspection and reporting
