Landscape Design Project Manager - Consultancy

Our International Architectural Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Landscape Design Project Manager to join their team in Dubai to work on major new masterplan and landscape projects in the UAE and wider MENA region. Successful candidates will have experience as a Senior Lead / Associate level Landscape Architect ideally with a recognised consultancy company background. Preference will be given to profiles with experience working in both UAE and KSA markets

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire permanent role employed by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, management, and direction in a manner consistent with our clients values.
• Prepare or oversee the preparation of landscape architectural plans, specifications, and drawings for construction.
• Effectively assess team and individual strengths and development needs, putting in place appropriate actions/learning requirements.
• Provide and maintain high standards of design, construction, and contract management, and support the senior colleagues in maintaining standards and ensuring compliance.
• Prepare and check drawings and specifications, for the scheme's technical accuracy and compliance with appropriate standards.
• Lead and manage the delivery of a design review service across multi-disciplines, maintaining and promoting high standards of design, construction, and contract management and promoting Sustainable Design across the team, and within projects wherever possible.
• Provide landscape architectural advice to clients.
• Inspire a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, ensuring the delivery of demonstrable high-quality products and services which embrace quality standards.
• Prepare preliminary plans/cost estimates based on programmatic requirements.
• Prepare detailed design/construction documents.
• Provide project management for selected assigned projects from preliminary planning through construction administration.
• Assist in the review of design/construction documents prepared by others.
• Provide support to Senior Landscape Architects, Landscape Architects, and other administrators on special projects.
• Maintain Electronic Library of manufacturers information, samples, and manuals.
• Plan and monitor staffing requirements across multiple assignments

Landscape Design Project Manager Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of related experience in planning, design, and construction administration.
• Proficient landscape architectural drafting/drawing ability.
• Experience in coordinating the design process and successfully managing multiple stakeholders, consultants and sub-consultants
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
• Strong knowledge of the local Flora of the UAE and KSA.
