LV Sales & Estimation Engineer - Contractor

Our Large MEP Contracting Client has a new requirement for a well experienced LV Sales & Estimation Engineer to join their team in Dubai. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Sales and Estimation Engineer identifying and developing new business in commercial build, data centres, O&G and Utilities sectors in the UAE and beyond having worked for recognised main or MEP contracting companies previously.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed by our client.


Key Responsibilities:

Handle technical sales and estimation activities for LV systems projects | Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial buildings, data centres, oil & gas, and utility sectors |Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to understand project requirements| Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals in line with tender requirements |Support project/tendering, negotiations, and order closure activities

  • Accurate preparation of cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing for LV systems
  • Timely submission of tenders and compliance with specifications and standards
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strong relationships with the OEM partner.
  • Provide technical support during pre-bid and post-bid stages
  • Ensure alignment with internal engineering, procurement, and project teams
  • ·Value addition to optimizing the usage of components and make.

LV Sales & Estimation Engineer Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics or a related field.
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in sales and estimation of LV systems | preferred with UAE market experience | Proven exposure to commercial buildings, data centres, BMS, oil & gas, and utility projects
  • Strong knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and ELV systems, including:
  • Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Centre LV infrastructure
  • Commercial building electrical requirements
  • Good understanding of tender documents, drawings, and specifications, contract conditions
  • Knowledge of UAE authority regulations and international standards
  • Sound understanding of UAE authority regulations, including (as applicable): DEWA, ADDC, SEWA,, Civil Defence, Etisalat / DU (ELV scope)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and estimation tools
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Mandatory valid UAE driving license.
