Mechanical Engineer - MEP Contractor - 6 Month Contract

Our Tier 1 MEP Contracting client has a new requirement for a number of experienced Mechanical Engineers to join their team in Ras Al Khaimah at prestigious new project in the Emirate. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Mechanical Engineer on major 5* Hospitality and High Rise projects in the UAE and have worked in the capacity of Mechanical Engineer for a Main Contracting company.


This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month Contract as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct research and analysis to determine feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanical systems
  • Create technical drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Oversee installation of mechanical systems and components
  • Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and clients to ensure project success
  • Test and evaluate mechanical systems to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and provide solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations
  • Manage projects and budgets, ensuring deadlines are met and costs are controlled
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including manuals and reports


Mechanical Engineer Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years’ relevant in HVAC
  • Ability to work using modeling software’s such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )
  • Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks
  • Have strong engineering background in Mechanical field
  • Have fair knowledge on the Mechanical system components and uses
  • Project Experience in GCC countries working on high rise projects
  • Good communication skills
