MEP Manager (Technical) - Consultancy

Our Multi National Project & Commercial Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Technical MEP Manager to join their team in the Riyadh, KSA to work on new projects including data centres, new build, fit out and refurbishment projects in the Kingdom. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Technical MEP Manager with strong design and supervision experience, ideally for a recognised consultancy company.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the design, coordination, and implementation of MEP systems for complex projects
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for MEP-related issues
• Review and approve MEP drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Implement and maintain quality control processes for all MEP works
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and team members
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in MEP systems for projects     

Technical MEP Manager Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Proven track record in managing fast paced and complex projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, coordination, and implementation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is advantageous
• Excellent project management skills, including contract management and budget control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
