MEP Revit Draughtsman - Consultancy - 3 Month Contract

Our Regional Engineering consultancy client has a new requirement for 2 No well experienced consultant MEP Revit Draughtsman to join their team in Dubai to work on a new build and villa projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an MEP Revit draughtsman for building and villa projects in the GCC and have worked for a recognised consultancy client.


These roles is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3 Month fixed term contract position as an outsourced employee of our client employed by J10 Consulting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with MEP BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure the projects compliance with the given policies and processes and to ensure timely implementation and completion
  • Design of electrical and communications systems for industrial, residential, and commercial facilities
  • Cooperating and communicating with the Project Manager and other project participants and collaborating with Senior Engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project’s profitability
  • Making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems.
  • Conducting site inspections when required.
  • Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field
  • Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions
  • Flexible and can lead the work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects assigned and to work under pressure


MEP Revit Draughtsman Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in MEP Engineering - Electrical or Mechanical
  • Minimum 3 years of recent progressive experience
  • The ideal candidate must have strong Revit and CAD experience in all design phases.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Electrical Engineering design and analysis.
  • Capable to Prepare Load Schedule, SLD
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
  • Ability to work on assigned scope independently
  • Ability to work under own initiative to meet deadlines and submissions.
