Piping Designer - Oil & Gas - 3 Month Contract

Our Leading International Oil & Gas client has a new requirement for 5 well experienced Piping Designers to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE at a conventional Gas development project. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a piping designer on large scale Oil & Gas projects in the UAE. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked previously with SP3D and Microstation.

This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 3-month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs piping modelling using SP3D for at least 2 years
• Perform Piping Routing Studies
• Performs 3D equipment modelling
• Should have middle east experience
• Should have Gas processing Plant experience
• Produces piping related drawings including details, isometrics
• Produces piping GA drawings from the model
• Performs piping MTO
• Co-ordinates with other designers/engineers
• Reports the progress of their works
• Checks/comments on Vendor drawings

Piping Designer Experience:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum of 10-12 years relevant experience as a piping designer
• Experience of working on Oil & Gas development projects in the GCC is essential
• Experience of SP3D and Microstation are mandatory
