Procurement Executive - Fit Out, Events & Exhibitions

Our regional fit out, events and exhibitions production and contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced procurement executive to join their team in Dubai, UAE. Successful candidates will have extensive procurement and admin experience on all size and fast-track fit out, event and exhibition projects in addition to overseeing workshop procurement in the GCC.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Procurement and admin executive responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.) For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you're identifying the most profitable offers. Ultimately the role of the Procurement and admin executive is to create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.
- Research potential vendors
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Review quality of purchased products
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
Production & Admin Executive Requirements:
- BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good judgment and analytical skills;
- Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization;
- Communicate information effectively, both orally and in writing both internally and externally;
- Possess strong work & business ethics Experience in Managing & handling Team is advantageous
- Proven work experience as Procurement Manager, or similar role
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
- Negotiation skills
