Production Manager - Thematics, Events & Exhibitions

Our multi national Events and exhibitions contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Production Manager to head up their thematic production facility in Riyadh, KSA. Successful candidates will have extensive production management experience on all size events and exhibition projects in the GCC.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Co-leading the dedicated production and project management for the thematic factory in a way that combines the strengths of the leadership team in order to ensure sustained success in production and delivering the projects, while maintaining best-practice and world-class reputation for the company.

The projects mostly entail impressive temporary and semi permanent builds for entertainment and cultural mega events as part of the Saudi Seasons in addition to other stand alone events/projects. They are extremely fast track and chaotic. Emotional intelligence, Resourceful, creative problem solving, endless positive energy, high flexibility, spirited leadership, strong communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit are key for success. This job needs a true maestro.

High technical skills providing specification and details of materials & themed works application methodologies to meet the approved design and samples, scaled models & mock-ups.

Provide design input for the most efficient & cost-effective production techniques -Liaise & take direction from the client's Project Director to gain a detailed understanding of the client's requirements & expectations

Manage & coordinate the production to delivery of all artistic & themed works for several projects, in off-site fabrication facilities & on the construction site.

Play the leading role in supply chain management in interviewing & hiring thematic sub-contractors, workers & suppliers.  

Attendance at project meetings & site construction meetings

Production Manager Requirements:

• BSC Engineering Architectural, Scenography Fine Arts, or equivalent certificate.
• 10+ years’ experience in production and delivery management executing large scale theme parks
• Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance
• Strong skills in reading drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
• Very good in communication and reports
• Strong leadership and stamina for problem-solving with positive approach
