Project Architect - Architectural Consultancy

Our Global Architectural Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Project Architect to join their team in Dubai to work on prestigious new projects in the region. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Project Architect on high rise residential, commercial and hospitality projects along with major masterplans in the UAE. Candidates must have worked for a recognised architectural and design consultancy client as a Project Architect


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The role of the Project Architect is to assist the Project Leader and Principals in the production of a project and involved in the day-to-day execution of the project.
  • Assisting the Project Leader in the development of the Clients Brief and undertaking the production of the project in accordance with that Brief
  • Responsible for developing packages of work in coordination with consultants, project leader and Principals
  • Advising the Project Leader immediately if any real or potential difficulties or problems become evident which may risk the strategic, financial or time planning on the project
  • Ensuring that project records, including all working documents, are properly and promptly filed and maintained and readily available for reference
  • Ensuring that the project documentation is produced in accordance with policies and standards
  • Responding to project correspondence, meeting notes and other data as directed by the Project Leader
  • Maintaining an awareness of all matters relevant to the design and production of the project for which the Project Leader has directed them to undertake
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the Project Leader or Principal
  • Understanding of clients systems such as Road map, DI Portal and Reviews; and implement them on the project in a timely and effective manner to elevate the quality of work delivered
  • Deliver contribution to projects efficiently and effectively
  • Work with the Project Leader to maintain client relationships
  • Solving complex problems in connection with the architectural design
  • Assist in the development of local studio standards
  • Drive the coordination of the project design and project team, including all subconsultants


Project Architect Experience:

  • Professional degree in Architecture with 8+ years of total experience,
  • Experience in different types of Building and Complexes, Residential, Mixed use, Hospitality, High rise, retail etc.
  • Capable of communicating with stakeholders and senior leadership in a clear and concise way.
  • 5+ years of experience within an international architecture firm
  • Advanced skill level in Revit
  • Working knowledge in Rhino preferred
  • Advanced Adobe Suite skills
  • Proven experience in delivering projects in schematic, documentation, tender and IFC stages
  • Demonstrated experience with residential and mixed-use projects
  • Understanding of procurement processes
