Project Coordinator / Junior PM - 3-4 Month Contract

Our International design and build consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Project Coordinator cum Junior PM to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Successful candidates will have strong Project Coordination and some project management experience on high profile leisure and entertainment destinations. Candidates must have strong primavera and project planning skills to ensure on time and to budget project delivery by leading the project team under the guidance of the project PM.

This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 3-4 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.

Responsibilities:

• The Project Coordinator would be involved in the project from design to the delivery, nimble support in assisting the project managers on-site.
• This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours & blue collars headcounts, organizing and participating in site general surveillance & site surveys, quality control, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
• Execute and drive installation plan for respective realm. Lead Installation Teams, monitor and assess progress.
• Lead installation teams to execute and drive installation plan for respective realm.
• Attend daily stand-ups, set daily/weekly targets, monitor progress and coordinate with tech leads.
• Liaise with PM to manage and execute installation plan.
• Support PM in manpower planning and task allocation.
• Liaise with client and other vendors to resolve site issues and blockers.

Project Coordinator / Junior PM Requirements:

• Bachelor or engineering degree in technical or civil.
• Minimum Five years experience in related field.
• Very good verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Strong experience in Primavera P6 to understand and push the project plan through to on time and budget delivery
• Strong personality to manage sub cons and site teams
