Project Manager - Design Consultancy

Our Award Winning Architectural Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Project Manager to join their team in Dubai, UAE to work on Hospitality, commercial and mixed use projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Project Manager specialised in Hospitality, commercial and mixed use projects in the UAE / GCC and have worked for a recognised architectural design consultancy client previously


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Project Manager in providing a professional Project and Design Management service both internally and externally
  • Liaise with Clients as requested by the Senior Project Manager
  • Support the Senior Project Manager and Architects in successful project delivery
  • Project Coordination & Project Controls
  • Project Schedule Adherence
  • Arrange and attend weekly Meetings
  • Prepare Minutes of Meetings and supporting documentation
  • Generate Monthly Project Report Project Setup
  • Assist in preparing schedules and planning programmes for submittal to the client for approval.
  • Assist in organising internal meetings with sub consultants for project planning. Project Management
  • Assist in preparing project documents, file correspondence for client’s suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Assist in the coordination with Architects to clarify details of the design relating to drawing modification, technical specifications and other related documents issued to the contractors. QHSE
  • To comply with all QHSE Policy, objectives and procedures established in the Integrated Management System, and suggest improvements where required.
  • Report all accidents, incident, near misses, no matter how minor, to the QHSE Manager and/or to HR


Project Manager Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction related field
  • Minimum of 6-8 years work experience within the Architecture, Design & Construction industry
  • Computer Literate
  • Strong organisation & communication skills
  • Project Scheduling Experience
  • Time management skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Able to prioritise duties and work under pressure
  • Proactive and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Methodical and accurate with consistent attention to detail
  • Able to manage sensitive and confidential information
