Project Manager (High End Interiors) - Main Contractor - 3 Month Contract

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Package Manager specialised into high end interior fit out and joinery to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Package Manager on high end interior fit out projects and contracts in the UAE and have relevant experience working for main contracting companies on high profile fit out projects.


This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3 month contract position as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in production and installation of luxury interiors and joinery packages for high-spec Fit-Out and interior works
  • Responsible to lead and coordinate all activities for the packages or each phase of the project; detailed engineering and installation in accordance with the defined project budget and schedule.
  • Actively liaise and collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Team for all the engineering and construction issues
  • Managing and motivating a team so that priorities are clear and directions for the performance of their duties are set to meet the objectives of the Project.
  • Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
  • Supervising and instructing the production, delivery and construction teams as well as subcontractors.
  • Evaluating the performance of construction employees and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Analyzing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
  • Must have a working knowledge of MEP, Civil, Architectural and Interior.
  • Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.


Project Manager (High End Interiors & Joinery) Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Site or Project Manager specialized into high spec interior fit out and joinery packages working on high end interior fitout projects.
  • Strong knowledge of production, installation & construction methods, materials, and techniques including joinery
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and discrepancies.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Stakeholder engagement and management
