Project Manager (Lighting) - Contractor

Our Specialist Lighting Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Project Manager experienced in lighting to join their team in Dubai, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Project Manager for lighting projects on commercial, hospitality and office space interior projects and contracts in the UAE and have worked for recognised lighting / MEP contractors in the UAE.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
• Monitor project progress and adjust resources and plans as needed to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate across departments (design, procurement, production, and site) for seamless execution.
• Evaluate material and labor costs and ensure effective cost control throughout the project.
• Oversee and validate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and tender documents.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Ensure all technical aspects are properly integrated and executed on-site.
• Coordinate with design consultants and internal teams for design approvals.
• Lead site execution for lighting works, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
• Manage subcontractors, labor, and suppliers efficiently.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Organize and attend project meetings, preparing and presenting progress reports and updates.
• Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and timely issue resolution

Project Manager (Lighting) Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in managing lighting projects.
• Strong expertise in project planning, cost estimation, budgeting, and BOQ preparation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with UAE local authority regulations (e.g., DM, Trakhees, Nakheel).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
