QC Fit Out Inspector - Main Contractor - 3-6 Month Contract

J10 Consulting has a new requirement for a well experienced QA/QC Fit Out Inspector to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a QA/QC Inspector on high end interior fit out projects and contracts in the UAE and have relevant experience working for main contracting companies on high profile fit out projects.
This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-6 month contract position as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
- The QA/QC Fit out Inspector will play a vital role in maintaining the company's reputation for excellence by inspecting workmanship, materials, and adherence to specifications
- Conduct thorough inspections of interior fitout projects at various stages of completion, including pre-construction, during construction, and post-construction phases.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project plans to ensure compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
- Identify and document deficiencies, deviations, and non-conformities in workmanship, materials, and installations.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive quality control checklists and inspection reports.
- Provide guidance and training to project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Conduct quality audits and performance evaluations of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with third-party testing and inspection agencies as required.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality control status and recommendations for improvement.
QA/QC Fit Out Inspector Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in quality control/assurance within the construction industry, with a focus on high end interior fitout projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and reporting.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
