QS / Estimator - Interior Fit Outs

Our Regional Interior Fit-Out and MEP Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team in Dubai, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a QS / Estimator on interior fit out projects and contracts in the UAE.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire role employed by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare BOQs and quotations
• Measure and calculate the cost of materials
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, time requirements, and ability to deal with suppliers.
• Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data
• Prepare tender submissions and take offs
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
• Read and interpret plans
• Contract administration
• Prepare and Analyze AutoCad 2D Drawings

Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Experience:

• Candidates should have minimum 3 experience in estimation & costing with a fit out company in the UAE.
• Must have knowledge of production (joinery) and installation (joinery & fit-out ) procedures.
• Technically sound, Strategic planning skills, Analytical and extremely detail-oriented
• Good IT systems knowledge and skills including AutoCAD, 3D Max, and Photoshop
• Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly, should there be changes in work priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
• Ability to Multitask based on requirement at hand
