Quantity Surveyor - Developer

Our Multi National Real Estate Developer client has a new requirement for a number of experienced Quantity Surveyor's to join their team in Dubai, UAE to work on major villa and residential tower development projects. Successful candidates will have strong Pre & Post Contract Quantity Surveying experience and must have worked with a recognised consultancy or developer company.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre contract
- Cost Planning and estimating (BCIS and NRM1);
- Value Engineering, cash flow forecasts, Whole Life Costing, risk management;
- Bills of Quantities production (POMI and CESSM3);
- Tender services including compilation, tender analysis, negotiations and recommendations;
- Contract drafting (FIDIC);
Post contract
- Interim valuations and payment certificates;
- Variations analysis, recommendations and management;
- Risk and value management and cost control functions;
- Costs analysis project work;
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;
- Preparation of progress/ cost reports;
- Reporting to Associate Director on all commercial issues;
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations;
- Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.
Quantity Surveyor Experience:
- MRICS status is advantageous
- BSC in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution is preferred
- Experience in Villa and Residential Tower projects is a must;
- Minimum of 8-10years’ experience;
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ UAE, UK or international experience;
- Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 1 year;
- Knowledge in the use of QS software or similar is required;
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
