Quantity Surveyor (Sub Contractor Procurement) - Main Contractor

Our International Main Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in Sub-Contractor procurement to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Quantity Surveyor working for a recognised main contracting company on large scale new build civil construction projects and sub-contract procurement. Only candidates with a proven track record with recognised Main Contractors will be considered.

This role is available for immediate joining and is for a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed directly by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and procure subcontractor packages.
• Conduct technical assessments of subcontractor proposals.
• Collaborate with project and procurement teams for seamless integration of subcontractor services.
• Update procurement records and ensure compliance with legal and contractual standards.
• Support negotiations to secure optimal value from subcontractors.
• Prepare cost comparisons and recommendations for subcontractor selection.

Quantity Surveyor (Sub Contractor Procurement) Experience:

• Minimum BSc in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related
• 5–10 years of experience in procurement, specializing in subcontractor packages.
• Strong technical assessment skills for subcontractor packages.
• Extensive technical knowledge, particularly in civil engineering.
• Proven experience in subcontracting procurement.
• Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of subcontracts and legal requirements.
