Revit Technician (AV/MEP) - 3 Month Contract

Our International AV Design & Build client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Revit / BIM technicians to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on a high profile leisure and entertainment destination. Successful candidates will have strong Revit / BIM experience and major project exposure in AV or Theme Parks will be preferred.

This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 3-month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist BIM coordinator(s) in 3D Revit modelling and Maintenance of federated models.  
• To assist BIM coordinator(s) in the modelling and creation of REVIT families. 
• To adhere to client standard of work and model up to LOD 500 within BIM
• Make changes within the BIM once issues are identified
• To adhere to CDE standard of work and model to BIM level 2 where possible on all Revit families. 
• Make changes within the BIM once issues are identified through clash detection. 
• To assist BIM coordinator(s) in creation of 2D drawings and information output direct from the BIM. 
• Attend coordination meetings and demonstrate an understanding of the project at hand.

Revit Technician Experience:

• Demonstrable experience with Autodesk Revit
• Proven experience as a BIM Technician
• Experienced with BIM
• Knowledge of BIM360 Document Manager preferred
• Experience with Navisworks, Rhino, AutoCAD and Inventor preferred
• Be able to work well within a team and independently
• Audio Visual engineering experience/ an interest in the AV industry
