Revit Technician (Landscapes) - Consultancy - 6-12 Month Contract

Our International Infrastructure Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Revit Technicians (Landscape) to join their team in Riyadh, KSA to work on prestigious new projects in the Kingdom. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Landscape Revit Technician on major Landscape, Master Plan & Urban Development projects in the GCC


This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6-12 month contract position employed as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Landscape & BIM Design Leads to ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completion
  • Works with BIM lead, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completion
  • Understand Revit process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completion
  • Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process
  • Good knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families
  • Strong knowledge in LOD requirements
  • Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasks
  • Good knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash report
  • Able to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate


Revit Technician - Landscape - Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years overall experience required for Landscape Technician role or 7 years for a Senior Technician position
  • Strong proficiency in Revit / BIM
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working in a recognised Design and Engineering Consultancy
  • Proven track record of working on high profile Landscape projects in the Kingdom or wider GCC
