Senior ELV Design Engineer - Consultancy

Our International Engineering consultancy client has a new requirements for well experienced consultant Senior ELV Design Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on high profile mix use projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior ELV Design Engineer for large scale mixed use projects in the GCC.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems (Telecommunication, Security/PAVA/AV, Structured Cabling System) including Passive and Active components' design, from conceptual design phase to construction phase.
• Produce vital ELV calculations (Field of View and Lense Calculation, Recording Time and Capacity Calculation, Wifi Heat etc.
• Coordination with other fields during the design phase, including Architectural, Interior Designers, MEP, Infrastructure, Landscape, etc.
• Producing compliant design with all local authorities (Etisalat, Du, SIRA, etc.) and acquire all required design NOC/s.
• Preparation of ELV Systems tender packages including drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with Local suppliers / Contractors to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client.
• Assist the MEP Director for Investigation and report writing

Senior ELV Design Engineer Experience:

• Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10-12 years post undergraduate experience
• Proven related professional experience in a recognised consultancy company or Tier 1 PMC
• Experience of working on large scale mix use projects including site experience
• Strong REVIT skills in addition to the usual Electrical design programmes.
