Senior Project Engineer - Waterparks

Our multi national Architect & Engineering Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their construction supervision team in Doha, Qatar. Successful candidates will have project exposure to full life cycle theme and water park projects from design to delivery.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

You must have a project background in Theme and Water Park projects, ideally from a consultancy or PMC background and be au fait with the intricacies and complexities of delivering such projects.

A strong full project life cycle exposure from design to delivery, you will be supervising the design, project supervision and production teams for this large waterpark project. You must have at least 10 years experience at CM/SPE level and have extensive experience in all phases of design to all disciplines; i.e. architecture, structure and engineering, varied experience involving responsible planning and design of complex projects coupled with a proven ability to demonstrate creativity.

Mandatory Requirements

• The role requires a proven track record of delivering Theme and Water park projects.
• University degree in an appropriate field
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
• 10+ years of experience with at least 3 working in the GCC in similar projects.

Desirable requirements

• Evidence of suitable professional qualification PMP, MRICS or equivalent is preferable
• Background in PMC or Consultancy company.
• Arabic language skills
• Chartered engineer status from a recognized institution
