Senior Project Manager - VIP villas - 6 Month Contract

Our Regional Project Management Consultancy (PMC) client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on VIP Villa & Residential projects in the Emirate. Successful candidates will have extensive Project management experience ideally with Tier 1 Contracting company background in VIP Villa and Residential developments.


This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 month contract hire opportunity as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.


Responsibilities:

  • In a true collaborative Project Management style, you will manage, develop, and coordinate the design and construction processes, ensuring that design and build plans are within functional project, budgetary, environmental, and legal requirements.
  • Driving development and delivery performance so that all milestones are met or exceeded without compromising cost targets, safety, security or quality
  • Directly managing consultants and contractors engaged in the design and build process
  • Planning and coordinating the operations infrastructure required for consultants, and contractors to function in a safe, secure, productive and collaborative environment
  • Validating project plans, budgets, performance status, forecast, trends, risks, and key decisions thereby enabling escalation as necessary
  • Providing management and oversight of the construction and commissioning by ensuring that all objectives are being achieved including those related to cost, schedule, safety, quality, technology, security, logistics, supply chain delivery and sustainability


Senior Project Manager Requirements:

  • Degree Level (preferably) – Civil or Architectural building or similar
  • Work Experience>12 years’ experience in relevant Tier 1 Senior Project Management roles, at least 5 from within a construction and technical background.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in reputed Tier 1 contracting companies specialising in VIP villa and residential projects
  • PMP is essential
