Senior Quantity Surveyor (Pre Contract) - Consultancy

Our Multi National Project & Commercial Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a Specialist Pre-contract Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on Hospitality, Commercial, Retail and mixed use build, fit out and refurbishment projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a strong Pre Contract Quantity Surveying (12+ years) experience ideally with a recognised consultancy company background.


This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed with our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of pre-contract activities for prestigious new hospitality and retail schemes in the UAE duties will centre around
  • Cost Estimating
  • Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Cost Planning Preparation of Proposals and Consultancy Agreements Consultancy Services
  • Preparation of Tenders Contract Documents and Sub-Contracts Construction
  • Projects Cost Control
  • Value Engineering
  • Benchmarking
  • Contract Administration & Management
  • Procurement Advice & Management


Senior Quantity Surveyor Experience:

  • BSC in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution preferred
  • Experience in Hospitality, Commercial, Retail and mixed use build, fit out and refurbishment projects is a must;
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience;
  • Minimum of 4 years’ UAE, experience
  • Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years;
  • Knowledge in the use of QS software or similar is required;
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Possess good project background and proven English language, presentation & technical writing ability and skills.
  • Strong client facing, stakeholder engagement and management skills
