Senior Vice President Development - Real Estate Developer

Our Real Estate Developer client has a new requirement for a well experienced SVP of Development to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE to lead strategic oversight and management of all development projects, ensuring that they meet the organization's strategic objectives and financial goals. This role involves directing the development process from concept through completion, providing leadership to various teams, and ensuring top-tier client and stakeholder satisfaction

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all development activities. Oversee the formulation of development strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.
• Project Portfolio Management: Oversee a large portfolio of development projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximization of returns.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with high-level stakeholders, including investors, government officials, and major clients, to secure project support and funding.
• Risk Management: Implement comprehensive risk management frameworks for all development projects, addressing potential risks across financial, operational, and regulatory areas.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Spearhead initiatives that incorporate innovative building practices and sustainability into project designs to enhance market competitiveness and environmental stewardship.
• Corporate Governance: Ensure all development activities comply with corporate governance standards and local regulations.
• Scope of Work (RFP), Procurement, and Consultant Management:
• Develop and oversee detailed RFP documents for engaging various consultants, ensuring project requirements, expectations, and deliverables are clearly defined.
• Manage the entire procurement process, from document preparation to consultant selection, based on comprehensive evaluations.
• Oversee consultant management, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget, while facilitating effective change management and payment confirmations. 

Senior Vice President of Development Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years in development management, with substantial experience as a leader in managing multimillion-dollar projects.
• Industry: Proven track record in real estate or related industries with significant leadership roles.
• Education: Master’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Additional professional certifications in project management or real estate are highly regarded.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
• Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, economic analysis, and market trends.
• Expertise in negotiating high-value contracts and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Proven ability to drive innovation and change within large-scale projects.
